I did it!!

So guys, I 'slept' in Grant Park last night, and it was amazing!! I actually didn't get much sleep while being in a soaking wet sleeping bag and having water pouring down my face! :) Very, very ,VERY wet and Very cold but very worth it. It was so cool because a couple of the kids who are from Uganda where there and they kept telling us how much this meant to all of the kids who have to sleep on the streets everynight in Uganda. It was so cool to be able to connect with these kids in that way. :) Also, on of the guys who filmed the original Invisible Children movie was there and I got to talk to him a little bit. He was recently on Oprah, for any of you Oprah fans ;).
But this experience was so amazing and we had a prayer vigil at 1 in the morning and we basically had our own church. God is doing amazing things through this organizationi and its just so incredible to so what's happening. So, I'll be in a movie that's coming out in about a year for the Global Night Commute (that's what I did last night). None of you will probably see me in the movie if you happen to watch it but I was there in Chicago in the midst of the pouring rain. But this is not in anyway about me, its all about the kids. Which is why I'm glad it rained. If it hadn't of rained, I think the Global Night Commute would have turned into a big party, but since it rained we were forced to huddle together and everytime I found myself wishing for coffee or a bed or just warm, dry clothes, I reminded myself that the kids in Uganda don't have the luxury of spending one night in the streets and then going back to reality. They spend the night in the streets every single night! It was amazing being able to connect with these kids and I thank God for this incredible opportunity I had last night.

Hey everyone!! Check out this website- http://www.invisiblechildren.com/ It amazing and if it had as big as an impact on you as it did on me, it will change your life! Love you all and I'll see you next week!
