Penelope has died
That was the name of my Toyota Tercel.
She's had a gas leak in the metal tube connecting to the tank so that when I filled it a little used to leak out. One day I took it to the station and saw the the leak was now giant and it wasn't worth trying to fill my tank.
A new gas tank costs $400, plus labor. I can't just get a new metal tube, I need the whole tank I think...and my car has 200,000 miles on it already....
so...
my car is dead.
Hm.
But....my birthday is coming up! And I'm sure Phoebe will get me to Littleton, where everything is happening on the 8th of December. Hopefully a tri-birthday party again : )
