Trinity Blood
I just finished the Trinity Blood series. The way the series ran seemed the opposite that claymore did. It started off kinda slow for me but then the last few episodes ramped up like crazy right around the time you get "the gang's all here" feeling and really redeemed the series and make it worth watching so I'm glad I stuck with it. Seriously with a final battle that contained the ship from independence day (same weakness and everything), lots of pew pew, a sibling battle for the world, surprise twists, resolution to the important things, room for an ova movie for those who want more, a kid pope, and holy crap a flying delorean! Whats not to like? The story is good about the vatican (humans) and the empire (vampires) are the 2 main powers in the world with a 3rd growing but wanting to stay neutral. The story is the power struggle between those who want the powers to coexist and those who want one side to triumph over another which allows for some interesting character development. Also when one of the main hero's looks more insidious than the main villian uk u got a winner. The Animation is decent middle of the road and its 24 episodes is normal length. Not the best I have seen but not bad either and if you don't mind some of the slower parts definitely give this one a shot and you will be satisfied having watched the series.
