Gackt's POV
Never Let You Go
I hear you calling my name, feel you touching my skin, taste you kissing my lips - you're so different when we're alone - far away from curious views of others.
Though it's paid with your pain … and mine as well.
“We mustn't”, you say.
“But I love you”, is my response.
“I can't cheat on her any longer”, you point out.
“There's a huge difference between mustn't and can't, Haido-chan.” With this I push away the horrible words you speak. “Right now I won't let you go.”
“Oh, Gacchan”, you sigh my name one more time before you let me have my way.
Though I almost always get what I want, it hurts. I love you, you know this. And you love me back, I know this as well. Nevertheless you've never confessed to me. Maybe it's better this way. You finally saying these three small words would take us over the edge … and we're already so close.
It will eventually be over. There will be a last time we make love, a last time you kiss me, a last time you touch me tenderly. And then your eyes, this sparkling of joy I love to see, will not be on me anymore, but on her.
It's an affair, an adventure, nothing to last for eternity - the both of us had agreed to that. I've never expected this to turn into something that means so much to me. Your friendship. Your love. You.
I want to stop the flow of time, want to erase the date of parting, the day on which we will return - back home where we can't hide in our own little world to just be together anymore.
We love each other, but we will finally wake from this dream and be thrown into cold reality. Haido, my angel, my love, my heart aches.
