(no subject)
UGH SRSLY THIS IS THE FIRST ENTRY OF MINE IN THE NEW YEAR? God I need to GET WITH IT.
And by "get with it" I mean stop being sick, because the minute the clock struck 12:00 on New Years Day I got some wicked cold or something... idek. But it was bad enough I called in sick to work yesterday, and I've never called in sick to this job before.
So I still feel like shit, but w/es.
I sent an email off to Sena-san's fanclub on Wednesday, inquiring about joining her fanclub. And since then I have spent EVERY DAMN DAY CHECKING MY MAIL AT EVERY SECOND. I think it's something like 10,000 Yen for a foreigner to join, so I'm shitting my pants in excitement. I wouldn't be able to afford this if it wasn't for tax return money on the 5th, I quite like to piss away my money as you can see.
Speaking about pissing away my money, I think this month I'll be buying myself Sena-san's Gone With The Wind performance she did as Scarlett. I mean, 100$+ for a VHS? HOW CAN I RESIST SUCH A DEAL?
Idk it depends if I can even afford it lmao. I got noooo hours around Christmas (of my decision), so I'm afraid to see what my paycheque will be like on Friday. I also work 12-7, which is a really weird shift for me to be working.
But yes. Ahh, the new year. 2010 was an interesting year.
- I became more active on Livejournal, and now have a friends list full of really cool people I'm happy to have met. :D
- I applied to the army in July of 2009, so I literally spent all of 2010 waiting for my application to be processed. It still has not been. I'm calling my recruiter tomorrow.
- Probably the BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO MY LIFE, I got into Takarazuka. It's been somewhere around a year (or less) since I've been SERIOUSLY into Zuka. I spent something like 700$ this year (yes I tallied it up) on Zuka alone and it blows my mind. (Keep in mind I also didn't have a job for the majority of that time).
My only regret is that I didn't get into Zuka sooner.
As for the New Year, some resolutions of mine:
- Stop biting my nails. Well, to say I bite my nails is an understatement. I DONT EVEN REALLY WANT TO GO INTO DETAILS, but this is something I've been doing for fffffff- like over a decade and it's the worst ever. I'm doing kind of better now, but sometimes I forget that when nails grow long enough they turn white at the end.
- Lose about 20lbs in fat and gain INFINITE lbs back in muscle. I don't think I'll be able to attend Karate this month because they'll probably want me to pay the 70$ yearly along with the 30$ monthly fee, AND I CANNOT AFFORD DAT. It kills me.
- Spend even more money on Zuka. Yeah.
- Learn more Japanese so I can write my own letters to Takarasiennes. YEAH. Like a champ.
Clearly I am a cool kid.
