So I watched that facebook movie...

I really don't get what the fuss is about.
It's not a bad film, considering that the plot is so incredibly boring they did a good job. Maybe it would be different if I cared about facebook at all, but for me the film could be about the guys who invented post-it notes. And I couldn't care less about the American Dream. So I knew the plot wasn't for me, I had no illusions about that.
But I thought the rest makes up for it.
Well, it doesn't. Hell, it's about adolescent boys bitching at each other over money. Money and their name on the web page. (I won't even talk about how women come across in that film, because I'd hate to sound like a psycho feminist.) There was not even the usual stereotypical but somewhat uplifting "friendship is more important than getting rich" moment. And yes, I get that that's kind of the message of the film, but it's old news and the characters themselves don't quite make the connection, do they? They're all so terribly self-important and there is no character development at all. The only (somewhat) likeable character from the main cast was Eduardo, but my question the whole time was why he even bothers with Mark.
So yeah, the movie looks very nice and it sounds very nice, but it feels just really empty and unimportant to me.
