Can you believe it is already March? I almost don't want to think about how fast time is passing me by. My kid is a good indicator of just how rapidly the days are turning into months, because she seems to be ageing about a year a day. She's in that bossy, selfish phase of life where anything and everything she lays her eyes on is hers. I'm trying my hardest not to spoil her, but my brother and my mom are not as on board with that as her mother and I are. The number of stuffed toys in the play room are a pretty accurate indicator of just how often they both visit. I've started culling them when she's asleep or at her moms, creating a secret donation bin.
The actual reason I am here today is cordially invite all of you to Pawnee, Indiana this evening. I had the pleasure of filming an episode of Parks and Recreation a few months ago (with one of my former Bored to Death costars, Jenny Slate), and I've been sitting on this announcement ever since. The cast and crew are all incredibly kind and hard working, and I may or may not have become obsessed with Nick Offerman's masculinity. (If you are interested in hearing Chris Hardwick and I talk about that for about a half an hour, go and look for the Nerdist podcast that I contributed to a few weeks ago).
So the bottom line is:
PARKS AND RECREATION TONIGHT AT 8:30/7:30C!!!!
