I love it when mods don't act too high and mighty for their own game. I think that if people're mods, it's their job to welcome people to the RP and... well, they don't have to, but it's nice if they chat a little to the person, make them feel welcome? I used to be in an RP where everyone was really welcoming and friendly when someone joined and made a "hi guys!" post-- it was a lot better than some of the other RPs where people are new and say hi, and no one welcomes them. Oh dude, yeah. Especially when your character is from a TINY fandom. I get scared away from playing certain characters sometimes 'cause a lot happens in their heads but they're not very open about it, and none of the other muns know what the fandom's about so... they just think that my guy's boring. Or something.
I'm not sure whether I prefer events that happen to everyone, or events that only happen to certain bunches of people. What d'you reckon? It doesn't sound like there's a difference but there is 'cause like, say with gender-bending events, if it only happens to certain bunches of people then they'd be like "AHHHH BOOBS/DICK" while everyone else is like "LOL THANK GOD I KEPT MY BOOBS/DICK". Or something kdjgbdh I'm so incoherent sorry. =__=
