(no subject)
yay for me!!! had a track meet today against edinburgh and hauser. all three of our teams were quite tiny so i was hopin for small amounts of competition. all the races had a pretty small amount of competitors except for long distance. fortunately for me, im a sprinter. well come 200 time, i head over to the start line hoping for maybe only one or two competitors. im used to having 4 or 5 but how can there be that many with such small teams??? well they found a way. i had 4 again today. i was talkin to one kid and he said his best was a 28 sumthin. easy competitor there. i generally run 27s. so we start the race and soon that kid is behind me. i didnt expect much more than that so i was slightly surprised as i passed kid # 2. so theres two guys in front of me right? well as we come within 50 meters or so, # 3 begins fading and is eventually behind me as well. the last kid wasnt ahead by too much but far enough to keep me behind him. who cares tho??? I GOT SECOND!!! along with my best time of 26.2, almost a whole second ahead of my best. so im happy. and then two of our 4x400 runners got sick and couldnt run so i didnt hafta run that either. im not too crazy about the 4x400 but i run it anyway. so i wasnt bothered much by that. then the team headed over to this sweet mcdonalds that has more than the usual stuff (like SHRIMP), u sit down and they actually have menus, and then theres a phone at the booth that u call and order on and they actually bring u ur food!!! how cool is that??? and now im back home watching the wings game and hoping that they can pull off a win and keep their hopes alive. thats about it for now. later.
