say what?
My boss is super stressed lately, so she came around to chat and vent a bit. She was telling me how she went to lunch with her son because yesterday she cleaned out her garage and he came to help...withhisboyfriend. She said it all quick and weird. I wasn't sure what protocol dictated that my response be. Like, should I be surprised, shocked, sympathetic, interested? I ended up not reacting at all, but by not reacting, did that say more than if I had reacted?
