here we go again
Our resident loony legislator from West Jordan (btw, if you live in West Jordan, you fail at life for reelecting him) wants the state legislature to issue a statement basically telling retailers to say Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays, because we're a Christian nation and he won't stand for this war on Christmas any longer.
But Joseph Smith revealed that Jesus was actually born on April 6. So why are Mormon Utah Legislators getting all worked up about Merry Christmas? If anything, shouldn't they be fighting to move Christmas to April 6, or renaming December 25 to be "Christmas Commemoration Day" or something? Or maybe...just maybe...they should be talking about more important issues?
