Part 2

Past
Infirmary

While Katie sleeps, Rodney eats. He always does when he's nervous, after all. When Katie wakes up, he's telling her how he went to see how Bug Collection Guy was.

But Katie is looking around her, scared, and not understanding him. At first, Rodney thinks he again had the wrong name, but she doesn't recognize him either.

Present
Corridors

Rodney is still searching, and this time, it's a team of soldiers, led by Lorne, who find him. He tries to talk to them, but they stun him with Wraiths pistols.

While the soldiers take Rodney away, Lorne shares some pills with another soldier. On the ground, the tablet with Teyla's photo is left behind, hiding under a couch.

Past
Sam's office

Carter got the confirmation that the city had been exposed. She said base, still used to the SGC. Keller calls her, warning her about the amnesia, because more people than Katie have the same problem, and it's getting worse. And she also began to have the headaches. Plus, with the growing numbers of patients, she need more place. John suggests the Mess Hall.

O RLY?

"I'll put my thinking face. It saved Rodney the last time."

"Hammond never did a facepalm in front of us, I won’t do it too. Hammond never…"

"Who's sexy?"

"Oh yeah. Me."

Present
Mess Hall

Rodney wakes up in the Mess Hall, surrounded by many more people, all civilians.

But probably not this one. It looks like a uniform of soldier.

When fandom will start slashing these two?

Nobody knows why they're captured, beside the fact that it's for their own protection. Rodney tries to open the door, and I wonder if it's important that he knew how it works, because he needed a hint for what button push in the teaser. And the fact that he never stops asking questions.

Then he remembers his computer, and search for it, but Keller tells him he had nothing when he was brought.

He didn't forget he had to find Teyla. He asks if someone knows her, but of course, he has no answer.

Past
Mess Hall

Ronon and John help carrying beds in the Mess Hall. Ronon wonder why the city didn't lockdown like it should do, but John doesn't know why. He also has the headaches, and leaves when Teyla joins, them, reassuring both of them.

John: "Hey, I think this bed is bigger than mine."

Ronon: "Wanna test it?"

John: "Not tonight, I have a headache."

Once alone, Ronon and Teyla realise they don't feel ill, and Teyla suggests Ronon should tell that to Keller.

"Hey, maybe I should go see Keller. Not you. I mean, you're busy, and it won't bother me to see her. For the sake of everybody."

"Suuuuure, go see her. For the good of everyone."

Baby Belly!

Past
Infirmary

That's more interesting that tingly knees, so Keller decides to take a sample of blood to verify if he and Teyla have an immunity to the disease.

"Move. For the greatest good."

She's so little near him. Like Janet. I miss Janet.

Present
Mess Hall

Rodney writes on his arms the things he doesn't want to forget, because he can feel it happening.

Left arm: 'little guy with glasses', ancient writing from before the last attack of amnesia, 'avoid soldiers', and after Sam's rappel, 'Teyla'. Right arm: 'people will die' and 'computer tablet'.

Then, he climbs on something to rally everyone, to get out. He doesn't trust the soldiers, knows they have to find what happen, and knows he really need to find this woman, and like in The Hive, he was so concentrated to keep so many things in mind that he forgot one. Luckily, one person who doesn't have so much to remember, was infected later than him, and has some leadership quality, remind him the name of Teyla. It's Sam, who accepts to follow him, because like him, she doesn't think the soldiers know more than them.

Katie is just before him, and he doesn't remark her.

Writing Teyla on his palm.

Past
Gate Room

Rodney and John, who both have headaches, join Sam in the Gate Room. Rodney bet on who will lost their memories first, and it's met with a nice "Rodney!" that I think has an amused and shocked for the form ring to it. John is probably vexed that Rodney thinks John will lose it first. I whish I have a better quality of this, because I think John's trying to not smile.

Because of the risk of peoples wandering in the corridors with no memories, Rodney advices putting every non-essential personnel to the Mess Hall, and John decides to give the job to Lorne.

Then, Sam gives them stimulants, which could slow the effects of the memory loss. John is less patient than Katie with Rodney's neurosis, and just orders him to take them when Rodney hesitates by fear of allergy. I think John is still pissed off that Rodney believe he'll keep his memory longer than him.

She orders to give them to Lorne and his men, and she also asked Zelenka to take out the control crystal of the gate, to be sure the disease stay in Atlantis. Rodney wonder what will happen when they all lose their memories but Sam keeps hope in Keller and her team.
I like the way they look each other or not, here.

Still the past
Infirmary

Meanwhile, Ronon comes to see if Keller find something with his blood, but she forgot he ever came. Bug Collection Guy is suddenly worse, and she falters, take a moment to find what to do. His heart lets go, she tries the paddles, but it's useless, he's dead.

Good bye Bug Collection Guy, you can boast to the other red shirts about Rodney making an effort with your name. Maybe it's what killed him.

Present
Mess Hall/Corridors

The best plan of evasion ever. They surely have fun filming it. Lorne and his team arrive with another lost scientist, still determined to do the last order they remember. A chance it wasn't some cleaning. Or a physical punition or exercice. '…and 100 push up. What am I doing? Oh, yeah, I have to do push up. One, two…'

Anyways, the moment the door opens, whoosh! Every one inside run outside faster than a kid at the end of the school year. The method works, sacrificing some of them to the stunner, including Keller who stopped to help Rodney, allowing him and Sam to escape in order to find Teyla. Even if Rodney forgot her. Again. I guess a part of Sam remembers her military training, helping her to stay concentrate instead of panicking, contrary to Rodney who did panick. The thing this disease can't take him, it's his curiosity, scientific or not.

Wheeeeeee!

Civilians! Gotta catch them all! PikaRadek! I chose you! Metal Pipe Attack!

Sam suggests searching room by room, thinking the place can't be so big, and Atlantis doesn't lose time showing her how wrong she is.

Ah, Sam knows the rule of the eyes in the eyes thing.
