dream

Last night, I had a crazy-ass, dramatic, creepy dream. I was hanging out with this guy, who was apparently my friend. He lived in this nice, cabin-like mini mansion with a wrap0around backyard with his dad (who was that guy who plays the landlord on 'New Girl') and his step-mom (Salma Hayek).
At one point while I'm hanging out with my friend, I go into the kitchen to find something to eat. But I don't find anything. So I pull a bag of bread and a packet of American cheese out of my bag. Then, a little blonde boy (11~ish) shows up in the doorway. I felt that he was my friend's little brother, but I didn't know this for certain. The weird thing about him is that no one ever mentions him, and this is the only place he shows up. Maybe he was a ghost? Anyway, I ask him, "You want me to make you something?"
  He nods and smiles.
  "You like grilled cheese?"
  "Yeah."
And then... I don't know... that was it.
Eventually, that guy and I start dating, and we're hanging out in the backyard, being couple-y and happy just to be together. But while we're outside, I'm not out there. I'm in the house, seeing things from the dad's POV.
It seems like he's been watching me ever since we'd first met. I had come down from my friend's room for something to drink. He's thinking about me as his son comes inside.
The son looks joyous and says, "Hey, Dad."
  "Where've you been so late?"
The son grins, "[I have no name] and I are dating."
The dad looks upset, but mostly angry. But the son keeps going on obliviously. Then the dream moves to a point where tension between the two of them is at the brink of boiling over. They're outside at the side of the house.
The son's figured out that his father's interested in me. He's disgusted and accuses his father of jealousy. The verbal fight escalates into a physical one. The dad picks up his son and tosses him into a grave that he prepared beforehand -- complete with tombstone.
I'm under the impression that my boyfriend's gone missing. I search frantically to no avail.
I've left out some parts where I'm with Salma and the father, or it's just he and I, Creepy, uncomfortable silences and stares dominated these moments.
Later, I'm in this room where Salma's telling me I need to swim through this submerged tunnel. If I want to get to the other side. Why I want to get there -- I have no idea. I dive in, and as I'm swimming the father grabs me by the ankle. I try to keep swimming, but he pulls me toward him and tries to kiss me. I struggle for air. Salma grabs him by the wrists and produces a pocket of air for me. "Leave, quickly," she says.
Swimming away, I look back to see that she's got him trapped in some kind of earthen box.
Salma and I are at home, and she's telling me she's not pregnant. It seems she's given up on the father.

It occurs to me that my boyfriend is buried in the backyard, and I wake up.
