I was reading the Sufjan Stevens - Brandon Stosuy article in this month's issue of Interview magazine. He (Stevens) expresses himself so well. I'm a little jealous.
Sometimes, I want to surround myself with people who have the same ideologies/think along the same lines. It would be nice to have a deep conversation. But then, maybe I'm better off with who I have now. I stress myself out so much; I can only imagine how infuriating it would be to argue with someone as opinionated as I am. Having people in my life who don't care about abstract concepts is a nice contrast to myself.
I want to smack Catholics who say they aren't Christians. Catholicism is a denomination of Christianity. Look. It. Up. Please don't flaunt your ignorance.
Do you believe in Jesus Christ and his teachings? Well, that would make you a Christian.
Also, I am an Atheist. That does NOT make me a Satanist. I endorse a secular lifestyle. I do not believe in Creationism. I am a non-theist. A Deist and an Atheist are two different things.
It is not a surprise to me if you say, "There's nothing when you die."
I accepted that when I became an Atheist. It comes with the territory.
