Perspective is a funny thing.
On my birthday the weekend before last, I was having a conversation with my biffle (BF... F), and I mentioned a thought that had just occurred to me:
People younger than us will be alive in the next century, but we probably won't.
For me, this was merely an interesting and envious thought.
But my biffle seemed [idk.. not angry... not frustrated... I can't seem to think of a sufficient word] at my statement. She said something like "Yunchin! Don't say that. That's so depressing!" (The exclamation points are for emphasis -- she wasn't screaming at me, hahaha)
I didn't think my observation was depressing at all, but maybe I just have a strange outlook?
Anyway, I just thought this conversation was interesting.
I really don't like that I used the word interesting twice here.... but I can't think of a better word.
