Battlestar Galactica Takes Over, Pancakes
So first, there's a Battlestar reference on The Office, then Veronica Mars starts saying "frak" like there's no tomorrow, and then last night it was immortalized on South Park. The image of a bed-sheet-wearing post-op transexual Mr. Garrison in bed, seducing a respected scientist and debating religion is ingrained in my mind forever. After convincing him that there's no God (with a BSGish score playing in the background), they start going at it like a pair of Bonobos monkeys. Off the top of my head, I don't remember South Park spoofing any sci-fi series except for Star Trek and Star Wars, so it's a pretty big honour. BSG is almost mainstream and that's amazing and wonderful because it's absolutely the best show on TV right now.

Also I made ridiculously good pancakes today. If you make pancakes from scratch, take the eggs in the recipe and seperate them into yolks and whites. Add the yolks as per the recipe but take the whites and whip them up like meringue until they're nice and fluffy and form soft peaks. Fold them into your batter just before you put them on the griddle. You'll get very nice light and fluffy pancakes.
