Men and Pie

I blame you for this, you know who you are. You and your damn pie. What happens when an idle mind and a tasty euphemism collide.

From the episode Urgo, food porn:

O'NEILL: Try the pie.
CARTER: Sir, I'm running a full diagnostic on the... *eats a piece of blue Jello and pauses* Wow.
O'NEILL: Oh yeah.
DANIEL: *with his mouth full* This is the best pie I've ever had.
CARTER: What's so different about it? *eats Jello with her fingers*
O'NEILL: Same old pie.
TEAL'C: It is most satisfying.

Orlin = Keylime: quirky and tart but sweet and surprising
Narim = Choclate Creme: Soft, fluffy, nothing out of the ordinary but nice anyway
Martouf = Lemon Cream Cheese: Tart, and not altogether palatable except for the sweet solid base.
Fifth = Mincemeat: Savory, complex, made of lots of little parts all mixed together. You have to try really hard to like it.
Jacob = Rhubarb: you either love it or hate it, it's difficult to make but worth it in the end
Mark = Strawberry Rhubarb: A lot like it's predessecor Rhubarb, but with a sweeter softer texture.
Jon (aka Jack clone) = Blueberry/Peach: Jammy, tart and substantial. Tradition with a little surprise.
Cam = Berry: Mixed flavors that work together somehow, sweet, dense and liked by just about everyone.
Hammond = Pumpkin: familiar and always there, gets along with everything and yet has a little hidden spice
Daniel = Pecan: kind of nutty, with a solid base, a dense outer skin and a creamy sweet middle
Teal'c = Apple: Traditional, solid, rich and steadfast
Pete = Shoofly Pie: Thick, sweet, not quite a pie but close enough.
Jack = Peach: Versatile, sweet but with bite, familiar but never boring

URGO: I wanna live. I wanna experience the universe and I wanna eat pie.
O'NEILL: Who doesn't?
