I found out last week that my dad has prostate cancer. Scary. I guess he'll be fine though. It hasn't spread to his bones or anything, so they just have to take out his prostate. He'll be out of commission for almost 2 months. He's going to be miserable. Poor papa.
I'm probably not going to grad school. Not anytime soon, anyway. My work decided there should be a policy regarding paying employee tuition. So instead of paying a majority of the tuition (which had been implied when I got the job) they are now only going to pay up to $3000 a year. This doesn't help me at all... tuition is about $16,000 a year. I would be leaving grad school with over $40,000 in student loans. I do not like the sound of that at all. So, for time being, grad school is a no-go. I'm thinking, instead, I will waste their $3000 they will give me for school on learning Japanese and maybe how to garden or sail, or something fun and completely irrelevant to the business world.
I've had heartburn everyday now for the last three or four months. I need to find a GP and get this fixed. Anyone know of a good doctor in Seattle? I hate going to a new doctor. I'll probably have to get a physical and blood tests. Strangers squeezing my junk and poking needles into me is a very frightening thought.
I'm tired of working for a living.
On the bright side, things are going well with Luke. We are officially "boyfriends" now. Its cute... even on our myspace accounts it says "in a relationship". Awww. Also, American Idol is back in session. I freaking can't get enough of that show. Judging and laughing at people pouring their hearts out on tv is the greatest american past-time ever.
GO SEAHAWKS.
