Schwedisches Affentheater
Movits were on tour in Germany from... well, this week. Today is their last gig, in Cologne. Damn, I wish I was there. The Man and me saw them on Thursday, in a tiny little concert, maybe 200 people in the audience, because they're not famous in central Europe yet. I but next time they come here I won't be able to pay the price for the tickets, because they'll be famous as hell soon.
Uh, who are they anyway? They're a swing-hiphop band from Sweden. All their lyrics are in Swedish. I don't ususally like hip hop - yep, they're this good. Live, they're only a DJ/electro drummer, a rapper, a trombone an a sax. The amazing thing is that this ridiculous setup works.
This clip is very similar to the concert where I was on Thursday. Only less people, so it was more intimate (muahaha). And me in the very front row :)
If you listen very closely, you can hear the singer try his luck on "ruf die Polizei!" towards the end.
