This morning, in the local newspaper.
L.A.'s biggest highway will be blocked for the weekend, therefore it's estimated that the inner cities will be full of traffic jams. Inhabitants have been told to stay at home on the weekend, in order to avoid this chaos, aptly named "Carmageddon", after the 1998 Hollywood movie "Armageddon".
Wow. Just wow. Named "Armageddon", after the 1998 movie. Of course. I mean, it's not like "Armageddon" has been around before 1998, right! I mean, it's not like it's nearly 2000 years old and was written about in the Book of Revelations, the last part of the bible, right! Of course. When you hear "Armageddon", the first thing you think of is Ben Affleck!
Holy hell, do these newspapers play IQ limbo with their reporters? "You must be this dumb to ride"? Where do they get their general education? I'm a bloody atheist, and I know better! Wow, they're in a for a really sarcastic letter to the editor.
