$195 Toilet Paper...at least that's what I think...

So, today while I was "slaving" away at my job, I learned a valuable lesson. For 7 hours today, all I did was ring, ring, ring. $1200 Chanel evening bags, $300 Armani shirts, $225 E. Zegna white oxford shirts, $180 Rock and Republic jeans, $180 Theory shirts, $700 Prada shoes....all that stuff that people who have more money than they know what to do with buy everyday. While ringing all this stuff....I came across this hand lotion by La Mer called "The Hand Treatment Deluxe". I picked up the box to see if the item matched the paper that was attached to it and it was then I saw it. The price for this hand lotion. Now I'm all for spending your hard earned money on material things and all....but I can't say the same about lotion. $195 freakin dollars for LOTION????? After staring at this price...this little light bulb popped above my slightly empty head. I had to see what this stuff was all about. So I opened the stuff up, took just the littlest bit of the top and put it on my hand. Then, I reached over an grabbed this little bottle of Bath & Body Works lotion that one of the girls I work with has sitting on the desk. I took a little bit of that and put it on my other hand. Thinking that there was no way that the $9.95 stuff from Bath & Body Works could compare to "The Hand Treatment Deluxe" from La Mer that costed 20 times the price. Was I freakin wrong. Both of them felt like lotion. Just plain ole lotion. I couldn't tell a difference. NOTHING. The only difference I would see is that my wallet would have been skinnier and my hands would have felt the same if I had paid $195 for freaking lotion. It amazes me that there are people out there with enough money to be able to spend $195 on lotion. I'm thinking about coming out with designer toilet paper and trash bags. Who knows...in a year or so I'd be rich...literally.
