Yes, I really lost respect for Abraham Lincoln when I discovered the Emancipation Proclamation only freed the slaves in The South and not in the North. Makes me shudder to think how disappointed the Black plantation owners (plantations owned by Blacks people) felt when their slaves were freed.

Why did he not want to send them to that paradise in Africa that Monroe created called Liberia??? Now Monroe was a good President, and the freed slaves that he sent back to Africa and created a country for were so grateful they named their capitol Monrovia after him.

I lost respect for Abraham Lincoln when I found out that he was nothing more then a greedy bastard who wanted to look good, and therefore started the civil war. Did you know that every single country in the world besides America was able to abolish slavery without violence? Makes me swell with patriotic pride or nausea, which ever you prefer.
