Phans of Phantom, beware of this deceptive movie. While Andrew Lloyd Webber did produce the movie and rewrote the music, the opera was ruined. Instead of hiring professionally trained singers, he let the actors sing their parts. Most of the songs are sung an octave or two lower in order to let the cast, namely Gerard Butler (Phantom) hit the notes ( Read more... )

Well... I think I would prefer to read the book prior to watching it anyway. :-) And when you find a version of the movie that you enjoy and think would not be a complete waste of my time I will watch it. :-) Till then... other things shall demand my attention.

Yes I do remember you ranting about a version of Phantom. But is it the same? (just curious)

Yes, this is the piece of shit that I ranted and raved that you shouldn't waste your time on.

:-) Mk. I clicked.

Like I said. When you find a version which would not be a total and complete waste of my precious time then I will gladly sit down and watch it with you. :-)

You're going to be waiting a long time becuase I'm going to be the one to have to make it. In fact, this is one of the films that I will give everything to make.

Well, I have time. :-) And I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon so I should still be around bugging you by the time you make it. :-)

I already admitted I have a lot of passion. Your point in restating the obvious is?

You want to make sure you get that particular translation.

Why?

It was still written by the same man... the only difference is the translator and... theoretically it should be generally the same thing.

You can't have mine. I need it to write the script.

Uh huh. As if you don't already have enough scripts to write you have to find yet another one to write.

You can hardly keep me from reading it if I were to move in like you have suggested. Especially since the book would never truly leave your possession. Nor the apartment.

Uh huh. Like we would stay in the current one... :-P My silly Furbie; you're the one who came up with the suggestion in the first place...

Whatever. I have school tomorrow. I plan to leave early so I have time to find the book. If they have it I'll get it. If they don't then I'll find somewhere else to get my hands onto it. Perhaps put a request in for this specific book.

Brian (school) called me at 11 to talk (about who knows what) and in calling he woke me up. :-P And freaked out that I was still asleep. :-D Eh he thinks he is going to be my friend he's gonna learn about my weird sleeping patterns. ;-)

(He's 29; friendship is absolutely the only thing I am looking for. No smart ass, jealous boyfriend comments please.)
