Challenger
Two -> Three: Christopher did a mildly mentally invigorating challenge. He challenged his opponent to memorizing Pi. He memorized to 200 digits after the leading 3. His opponent only had 150. The numbers were recited in private to a third party. (The challenge was made 2002.)
Three -> Five: Christopher's second challenge was a marathon of 42.195 kilometers. Both challenger and participant ran the marathon separately. Christopher won (3h:17:m > 3h:45m). (The challenge, due to it's nature, was made a few months after his first challenge so both he and the challenged could prepare. The marathon proper didn't occur until 2003).

- Christopher is challenged to yet another marathon. Christopher wins by 20 minutes (3h:23m > 3h:43). (2005)
- Christopher is challenged to a bare handed duel. Christopher wins (2008, a few months after being divorced).
- Christopher is challenged to a bare handed duel by a former student. Christopher wins (2010).
