I mostly use healing magic. But in my case, it's a bit special.

*Being a game character and all that. It's fun. :D*

Special? Would you mind elaborating on that, miss?

Ah ... well, I can only use in certain circumstances and places. But in Somarium, I don't think there's anything like that.

Oh, is that so? Would you mind elaborating on those special circumstances, miss?

*How do we explain a battle system without really explaining it ... Hnnngh*

Oh well ... For healing magic, someone needed to be injured to take effect. And for offense magic, I had to be in danger, like a battle.

[HE IS SO EXCITED.]

Magic that is defined by your situation? That is utterly fascinating! Are you unable to use the magics otherwise?

*W-well, it's good that he's happy?*

Well, in towns, we're not allowed to hurt others so offense magic can't be used at all. But I don't think there are other restraints.

...Pardon? The laws of your world constrain your magics?

That's right. *a nod* I guess you can say my world sort of controls our magic.

That is utterly remarkable! Why, I have never heard anything like this before! Are you able to use your powers here in this world?

Yes I can! *And boy, is she glad for that.* But in Somarium, I could use it anytime. ...W-well, generally anyway.*

Fascinating...So when the constraints of your world are removed, you are still entirely able to use your magics? This implies that the world itself is not what allows you to use your powers, and merely guidelines, so to speak, for them, correct?

*... You sort of lost her there, but that sounded about right.*

I think so! Umm ... but I have to admit that my magic isn't as strong as here.

It isn't? I wonder if there is a sort of cap here as well, as far as power is concerned...

Other than power, your magic functions the same here as in your world?

Yes, very much so! I have used both healing and offense magic here - they were no different.

That is quite curious, I must admit.

What sorts of offensive magic are you able to use, for curiosity's sake?
