[Aaaand the call is cut off. And Canas doesn't understand the device well enough to know how to call someone back, unfortunately, much as he's been fiddling with it.]

[Still...Her surroundings had been familiar. Canas looks around, and starts to walk, hoping to stumble over her.]

[So after a bit more walking in the snow (and thankfully only a bit more, he's getting tired), he spots the familiar green hair. A familiar face is always nice.]

[He's quite happy to see her, for if Lady Lyn is here, so too must be the rest of the army, right? Which would mean he is not, in fact, lost at all.

But he question makes him blink.]

[At the sight of the Dreamberry, he grins.]

It's fascinating, isn't it? It appears to be some sort of communication device, powered by small cells of power called 'batteries'. I'm still not entirely sure how it works, but I'm sure it shall all become apparent with some more thorough research!

[Stop him now, Lyn. He'll keep babbling about it if you don't.]

[His face falls a little at that. He had been hoping that she knew where everyone was.]

I haven't seen anyone from the army besides yourself, no.

It is rather peculiar, isn't it--

[He blinks when she gasps, and then he laughs sheepishly.]

Ah, well, there was a scarecrow, and it took me by surprise.

[He brightened again, excitement clear.]

Imagine! A place where scarecrows are semi-sentient! Perhaps if we study them, we can figure out how Nergal's morphs were about to function!

[Awwww. No studies? D: But that does make sense, so he nods at the interjection of common sense.]

[He pauses, considering the Dreamberry in his hand.]

From this device, I've learned that we're apparently in a dream world of sorts called Somarium. Though I'm still uncertain as to what that means, exactly.
