Strange questions....
I was going to answer the question on the front page of livejournal for today's entry, but then I couldn't think of a single time that I've gone out of my way to impress anyone so I couldn't very well answer a question about the craziest thing I've ever done to impress someone.
The only thing I can think of to talk about instead is the book that I was reading yesterday which was very good and I finished it in a single night. I like Kobo Abe in general and hadn't read The Woman in the Dunes before so I was glad they'd gotten it for me, though, I won't let them read it until they're older because some of the topics in it just aren't suitable for their age. It's depressing in a way, but also there's something in there that makes me think about the importance of making the best of a bad situation so that you're not always wallowing in your misery just because you were dealt a bad hand.
