On my last Saturday in Bad Mergentheim, Hubby visited me and we took a tour through the wild animal park near the town. It was a nice trip, beautiful weather and lots of interesting animals, but look for yourself:

I don't like spiders at all. Actually, I hate them so much, I'm afraid to touch them, and I usually call Hubby to remove them when I encounter one in our apartment

Went hiking again at the weekend. At some point, about half way through the woods, we heard a rustling in the bushes beside the trail. I could spot a black and white tail in the undergrowth that clearly belonged to some fleeing roe-deer

loupnoirwrote about hummingbirds in her garden. This reminded me of an unusual sighting a few days ago. There are no hummingbirds in Germany, but we saw something on our balcony that could hover in the air, fly forward and backward, and used a long proboscis to feed from flowers, much like a hummingbird
