Frustrating night
I was already kind of mad at myself today since I didn't go to church or 5:00 youth, but I have a feeling that not too many people showed up anyways. Who knows, maybe me and Chris were the only ones who didn't show. lol.
Friday night I went by my old friend Tim's house and picked him up, and we went over to Chick-Fil-A. It was kind of refreshing talking to someone from CHS. He told me that school has been hell for him lately, but really, where is it not hell? So after Chick-Fil-A, we came over to my house where we played F-Zero GX and looked through the Shaw yearbook to find folks from Blackmon Road back in the day. After that we watched the first four episodes of FLCL, and I took him home. I was originally gonna go out to eat with Cassandra and Brittany that night, but plans fell through. It sounded as though Brittany would either be sleeping or talking to **cough**The Mexican**cough**. And Cassandra wasn't home. But I'm actually glad I met up with Tim on Friday. It's been a while since we've seen each other in person.
Oh yeah, there's a house in Tim's neighborhood (Heritage Place) that appears to be an evil twin of my house. I'll drive by it sometime and take a pic.
But I've been typing all of this and haven't even gotten to the subject of this entry. Part of the reason I didn't go to youth was because I had massive amounts of schoolwork to do. And Calculus has gotten continually more frustrating for me as of late. Maybe I'm just losing my mind in there? Or ability to focus anyways. I was only able to solve maybe two or three problems on the homework assignment tonight. There's a quiz retake I have on Tuesday (the whole class is taking it, minus one) that I'm not really prepared for either. All in all, I'll be lucky if I walk out of there with a C at the end of the semester...
Human Anatomy is still extremely easy. Even though I lost my notebook last week, I don't think it will pose much of a problem. And speaking of poses, we're starting figure drawing in art class tomorrow (lame pun). =D Nope, no nude models...
