The life continues...
My concert on Friday night was very successful.
(Oh, and my lesson went well today. I think I'm going to get some coffee. It's wet and cold outside. I want to write a song. I want my dingy mandolin... I want to be home already.)
Parvaneh came to visit with some friends, which was a lot of fun. She came to the concert! (Also, Sasha, a friend of Esmé's here at Juilliard, came to listen) We arrived late because I didn't allow enough time for transportation from Panna II (on Indian Row, 2nd + 6th St) and 5th Ave + 86th to the Liederkranz place. It was a small crowd but a very happy one. The performances themselves were amazing, and I'm extremely happy with how my piece for flute and piano was performed. Probably the best performance anything of mine's been given. (I hope I can find a recording...?)
That was the weekend.
