Result
Well. Haven't updated since I got my results. They were awesome. I thought I bollocked up my English Literature, but it turns out I got one of the top five marks in the country! Guess I'm qualified to write a book after all. I was also ecstatic with my A*s in Spanish and Systems, which were looking rather doubtful throughout the course. And I was pleased with all my other A*s too!
Anyway. Celebrated at Laurie's. We had a laugh around Barnet until we had the bright idea to go back to his place and play our Scrubs drinking game. The rule was - take a shot whenever Dr Cox calls JD a girl's name. It happens less often than you think, but we watched a couple of episodes and by the end of it all, both Daves and Laurie were pretty much incapacitated.
Yesterday I did a bit more work for Dad and decided that what I really want to get is an armchair. I used to think that a dog would be the first thing I'd get when I grew up, but I've now demoted it to second in order to buy an arm chair. They're just so damn comfortable!
So I'm now saving for an armchair. Today I met up with Mabel and Tiff, which was awesome (despite the minor hiccups because of the ruddy Tube works which go on every weekend). It was a shame Ant had to leave early - he missed getting into the bed with everyone (it was a bit of a squeeze, but also a laugh). He also missed going to the park to roll around, climb trees, play Pooh Sticks and generally chillax.
It was funny because Dave T was with Tiff and Mabel had a boyfriend, but no one told Dave M. So he was hitting on them both to no avail.
General Thoughts:
*I swear...if I could change my surname I'd change it to either Darko or Foxx. I mean, not only are they the coolest ever surnames, but they work with everything!
*I'm hungry. For food and love. I've gotta stop watching sitcoms - they make you think that you can just head down to the bar and find the love of your life. Stupid TV.
