Middle of the week UpDaTe!

So these past two days have been quite warm! Yesterday I took a walk in the morning then went back out in the afternoon with a friend I met in the neighborhood last Saturday! She's got a daugther who is 6 days older than Ava! She's very pretty too, I can't believe how different babies can look.

Haha, so I guess Quinn is afraid of opening doors up? The office door shuts itself by wind when the window's opened. Quinn just stood there wagging her tail and whining.

Um, YEAH and I ordered stamps online like last week... STILL not here. You'd think that since I ordered them online all they'd have to do is stick them in the mail? I swear these things are being shipped from Indonesia or something...

Well back to the beautiful day, today is a bit muggy and cloudy but it's still awesome having all the windows opened and the two big doors opened too. It'll be a good day for another walk! We're also excited about having such close beach access this year. I mean my parents live on the lake... but I'm not comfortable having my own get-together at their house, unless their out of town or something. But anyway the beach should be awesome this year, so if anyone is interested... They have an Easter hunt every year but Ava's still too small for it but maybe we'll go and watch Kayla collect eggs?

Ava's big fascination this month are remotes... particularly the Comcast one we have, bright and shiny. She'll sit down on you lap and zero in on the remote and just launch herself to it. It's humourous.

We're going down to Springfield in May. We're thrilled as we plan on spending a week or so down there. It should be an interesting drive with Ava, since it'll be the first long one she'll ever be on. I pray she won't be screaming the entire time... she never cries in the car unless she's hungry so let's hope she keeps the good behavior up! Tom's been looking at positions for youth pastoring and I really hope that he'll be able to work daily at this particular job because it brings him much happiness and he's definately skilled in the technology area for youth ministries. We've gotten use to the Mon-Thurs work week with Fri and Sat off; Now he's back to Mon-Fri.

Gotta go- DeNiro's still tied up outside. I had to shorten his chain because he could reach the water-pump hose coming from the basement, well it had a hole in it and squirt out like a geyser and DeNiro is a BIG fan of attacking water sprays... needless to say he's muddied the yard and himself and left holes dug by the driveway... I swear that dog needs as much supervision as a kid... or more!
