Books. (Again.)

I have these sort of rectangular plastic boxes in my room where I put my books to keep them away from dust. However, I dug them out again a month ago, and each and every one of my books were covered in dust. It's worse with my hardbound books, as some of the dust actually stuck to the cloth and went inside the spine. (^&%$#*%#@!!!!)

The Ideal Solution would be to actually have another bookcase in my room - I already have one which I use for all those serious, serious books, i.e. my encyclopedic Webster's dictionary (gosh, I just love this dictionary!), Math books, reviewers - but as (1) the other bookcase is for my sister's medical books, and (2) I don't have space in my room anymore!!!, another solution would be to cover all my books in plastic.

So. How many books am I exactly talking about?

(See 12-inch ruler for reference.)

Six stacks of books. Three in the front, and three in the back. @_@

Some of those are my mom's, my sister's and my brother's (as I am The Official Book-and-Gift Wrapper Person around here because of my infallible OC-ness), but most of these are mine. And yes, I'm going to crack my back in the next few weekends just to cover all of these books, though I don't expect to finish because the new year comes. Ho-fucking-ray.

(Just a little piece of info, y'all: Most of the books in the two front leftmost stacks were bought in one weekend, at the most recent Manila International Book Fair. Incidentally, almost all of them are listed under Fully Booked's Top 100 Book List. The only book I bought then that is not part of the list is Giovanni Boccaccio's classic The Decameron. Ahahaha.)

(No, don't ask me exactly how much I spent buying those books.)

I was at Rockwell the whole day studying, and for me, no trip to Power Plant would be complete without going to Fully Booked. :D
