This weekend Paula had her first Ikea experience - both the magical store itself and the assembly of purchases. She loved both! She was skeptical when I said we were going to a store of "cosas para casas" (things for houses), but once she got inside she instantly loved it and was filled with ideas and wanted to re-do every room in the house. You know, the same way it affects most everyone. Well, me anyway!
I wanted to do something nice with the dining room because - between breakfast, dinner, and homework - it's where we end up spending a lot of time every day. We are very pleased with our new chairs and - extremely heavy - drop leaf table that expands to an oval capable of seating six. (Come on over for dinner!) And this set perfectly matches the awesome rug I bought last year.
Paula declared that this room now looks like a restaurant!
