Procrastination
I came here looking for a distraction, but there are no new posts since last I checked. Guess I'll have to finish packing and getting ready for my flight tomorrow morning. I'm heading to Raleigh, NC to visit my sister and her family. My dad's coming down Tuesday night and we're all going to our annual Bruins @ Hurricanes game. Then Dad and I are driving up to Ashland/Richmond, VA to hang out with the rest of my family and some back home friends (including hoye99!) for a few days. My sister will drive up after her kids get out of school on Friday and we'll have our postponed family Christmas gathering. Can't wait!!
I had originally told work I'd put in a few hours a day remotely, but I have gotten over that in the past few days. We got a backup for my position to keep all of my responsibilities from falling back on my manager, so I didn't feel as obligated. Plus, it's a vacation! And I haven't taken extended time off in a really long time.
Ok. Back to cleaning (so I won't be embarrassed when my neighbors stop by to feed the cats) and packing. Have a great next nine days, everyone!
