Some people regularly comment that I'm skinny. These same people also promised that American food would make me gain weight. Now, it's only been one week, but I have noticed no increase in weight. Based on my current trend, I expect to keep eating larger than usual quantities of food, mostly with added sugar, only to get the sugar-crazies, to sleep poorly and perhaps to leave the States as a diabetic.
Just once, I would like to hit a healthy 60kg.
(PS: This is not a deliberate attempt to antagonise people who are "trying to lose weight". If you were inadvertently antagonised, read this through an "opposite lens" and make it a story about going to a fabled land of weight-loss foods and not losing weight; this is the pity-me angle I'm going for.)
