Poor science. Good Karma?

My last LJ post was all about awesome people being awesome.
This was shortly after the announcement that my car had been stolen.
Was it "putting positivity back into the universe" or random fortune that lead to:

MY STOLEN CAR WAS FOUND IN ONE PIECE!

The evidence is flimsy and not entirely consistent. The car was, after all, found with a totally dead battery that cost me $300 ($150 to get roadside-assist, which I thought I already had, and $150 to replace properly).

However, it's still score-one for the hippies: My car was stolen and I responded with, "Hey Universe, you're still full of awesome people" and the Universe (really just a kind girl and the police, not Scott Edgar's Universe) responded with an awesome, "Here's your car back!"

Also, about five copies of When Evil Reigns were missing: Were they "stolen" or "freely distributed"? I could say "I now know how Metallica feel" except that I'm voting for "freely distributed". See, we've now hopefully reached an audience of at least five new viewers that we would have never otherwise found. Hopefully, they'll show their friends, etc., and we'll continue to broaden our horizons. Also, there will now a trial of recipients of stolen items that we can trace back to the car thief if the need arises. Which it probably won't because I've got the car back!

To summarise: Hey Universe, there are some truly horrific things taking place here on Earth but for a lucky few (like me) there are also so truly excellent friends to be had. Bodacious!

cool, car
