The universe is a chaotic and messy thing, and humans try their damnedest to impose whatever sort of order that makes them feel better on. If you let go and go with the chaos, the ride's a lot more fun. :D

Principia Discordia: or How I Found Goddess, and What I Did to Her When I Found Her. It's sort of hard to explain, but it's a great book, and is as close to religion as I generally get these days. Which is to say, not very and with a really, really good sense of humor.
