SUMMERFIELD, FL -- Helen E. Rice, 78, formerly of Lisbon died Monday May 23, 2005 in Summerfield, FL. She was born in Groton on Feb. 14, 1927 the daughter of the late John and Alice (Thibeault) Doty. While living in Lisbon she attended Sacred Heart Church in Taftville. Helen was a member of the Legion of Mary and the Carmelites. She was married to Harry W. Rice who predeceased her. Survivors include her four children, John W. Rice of FL, David Rice of Alabama, Martha Harris of Pensecola, FL and William Rice of Lebanon. One sister, Anita Harrelle of Lisbon and one brother, Donald Doty of Shortville, NY and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
