I am back. I hope you all a wonderful Easter weekend. I am in the midst of Holy Week. I am trying to get the horde to remember not to eat any meat this week. I told them that if they forget at school, its ok. lol.
Thursday is the twins' B-day and my Grandma's funeral. It will be a busy one for me. Matthew and I are driving down to Akron for it and then over to St. Luke's Nursing Home to get the rest of her things including an old wooden chest of drawers. Now my mom lives in an apartment so I am thinking I am going to end up with it which is fine, kinda of been thinking of where to put it, it is a beautiful piece of furniture.
my Grandma's Obit in today's Akron Beacon Journal My mom was teary all day Sunday, we talked about Grandma's baking, her spiced pears and pickled eggs she always made on Easter.
I am excited for Orthodox Easter. I am going to make pie. Apple pie. (I made a peach pie, my stepdad's fave, for this past Sunday. I used a pie bird this time around, no watery filling, it turned out perfect and yummy.)
K already told me she wants to go with to the Good Friday Service of the Lamentations and to the midnight service Saturday Night too.
I am finally reading the Dresden File books after my hubby has bugged for a few years that I should read them. I am also watching the third season of The Tudors which is just pure crack but fun crack.
I am amused and not at all surprised that yesterday's special Duggar announcement was that the oldest and his new wife of 7 months are having a baby. The youngest Duggar is 4 months old and will be an aunt when is 9 months old.
Lost is kickass.
K starts swimming over at Harding HS tonight with WHAT. She is very excited and I got her a nice speedo suit.
Nick beat an older playstation 2 Spiderman game. He is the biggest little Spiderman fanboy.
It is chilly and damp here and I want sunshine and warmth. NOW.
I have paperwork to wade through and should get cracking since I am only here at the store today and tomorrow. I need some coffee too.
*smoochies and lovies to all*
