I feel like venting. I just watched a commercial for Nascar on Fox. This commercial showed cars tearing down city streets, going off jumps, and just looking pretty sweet. I enjoyed watching that commercial; it was like a racing video game. But that isn't Nascar! In that commercial, Nascar is completely misrepresented. Nascar is in fact a very boring sport in which cars go around in a circle 568 times. There are no narrow city streets or 20 foot high jumps. Nascar has to make their commercials more exciting than the actual sport. If I were to watch the commercial not knowing what Nascar is about, I would be excited and might watch it, and end up being severely disappointed. Nascar is boring. There, I said it. How Nascar is the fastest growing sport in the country is a sign that this country is going to ruin. All hate mail may be sent to...well, you all know the address. I stand by my words.
