(no subject)
Haven't posted in months and was supposed to do so last night (and didn't) so I'll make one now. As it's been so long it can be a summary of my life so far.
Currently in holiday mode. Not holiday as in, we're going on a holiday, holiday as in, you've been studying hard for months, here's a two week break where you can catch up on all the things you didn't get done during the term, or put into the "I'll do it during the holidays" basket and then the most interesting part of each day is waking up mode. If you follow me. Earlier (about a month ago) a wrote a list on paper of all the things to get done. It still happens to be a list on paper and not much else. I was gonna get started the other day, but then got a bit of a sucky cold, you know how excuses are always conveniently there. Anyway, might get started today, I'm thinking about baking a cake - I'm thinking chocolate and coffee swirl - and go cough outside rather than in.
Marks are all back and I'm quite happy with them, quite confident I'll make it into second year law which means I don't have to make decisions about my degree for at least two years - Hurrah! Totally confused at the moment as to what papers I can cross credit and which ones I can't, but I've got two years to figure it out. My BA is basically gonna be just Spanish and I'm totally happy with that. There's only one other paper I really want to take, which is Beowulf/Old English paper. It's 300 level, with a whole bunch of requirements, but it says they'll accept you if you demonstrate substantial experience with learning language. With my Spanish and Law papers... here's hoping.
It'll be Christmas soon, and then it'll be over. I really need to start buying people Christmas presents, should've started ages ago so I wouldn't have to listen to the damn carols in the shops but I guess it's too late for that. That is all for now.
