Need-To-Know Info
Hey cats and kittens,
This is not exactly a dramatic return to the blog-o-sphere but rather a boring update of the practical sort. For those who want the short version: I have just moved into a new place, and my phone ended up getting packed. I'll be jiggered if I can find it anywhere unless I go through every box, which I'm working on but will take another day or so. You can reach me (or leave me a message) at my parents' house. And I'll be checking e-mail once a day for the next few days. We get cable on Tuesday and will have Internet soon after, and I'll be more reachable electronically.
Now, some extra info for those who care to read...
For the uninformed, T and I have moved back to our home county. He has taken a job offer at his old company(which includes a raise), I've finished classes (and I'm closer to the site of my masters project here than I was at CU), and a large Fortune 500 company here has a position I am trying to woo my way into.
We just got into our new house yesterday, a day that comprised the most busy and exhausting week of my life. Happily, it was a productive week. The new house is really BIG, with a really BIG yard, and the only reason we can afford it is that friends of the family own the property (but don't live there)and would like tenents to take care of it and help out with expenses. Basically, it's a parsonage that hasn't had any preachers in it for quite a while. However, the interior of the house is super-dated. I mean, like, hilariously so. We're talking, you can see the Brady family lining up for dinner. life_of_fiction and wanderbyy have seen it.
However, now that we are working with it and moving stuff in, it's actually looking pretty good and much more updated. So I'm pleased.
Oh, one other thing...sindarien, I will be in your neck of the woods right around the new year, and can visit before Christmas too (although you'll probably be mighty busy with family and boy ;) ). But I have your giftie and the dough I owe you. I'll go ahead and send those.
