Ignorance to modern life
In the middle of watching a movie, my laptop just gave up and died. Confused, I checked the power. Plugged in. And even upon restarting it, it confused me more to see that the battery was fully charged. No reason for a sudden power failure. It didn't feel overheated. I hate to think my laptop, not even a year old, could already be having problems.
It dawned on me later, that only the other night the same thing happened to my mp3 player. Died in the middle of a song. Turned it back on with two bars still on the battery. No reason why it should have powered out. What terrible luck.
I received a text only moments ago. To my surprise, I found the phone on it's last bar. Couldn't understand how I could have left it charging all night with only one phone call and a few texts made during the day, and to have it already out of battery power.
I don't know what to make of it. I'm losing control of my things.
