epic chalet;
I really want to blog about this for memory's sake, but after reading madah's entries, cows, macam dah cukup gitu. But then anyway I still want to save this in my lj memories so, like that.
I/We've been looking forward to this chalet for so long and there were so many plannings and meetings just to ensure everything would go as planned for this epic chalet of GM. Firstly it was due to the venue; first time away from Pasir Ris or the East sides. We went all the way offshore Singapore to Sentosa Costa Sands Kampung Huts and tak sia2! I had to go thru a war and eventually I sneaked out of the house while he was in the toilet. Yeah that bad but who cares, I had 2 people behind me to back up for me. <3 bro and mum.
I headed to grands' place as usual and then met up with them only close to 4pm due to the rain. SPOIL MOOD SEY! And to think I was the latest cos I took my time to relax2, sekali first lah kental. The rest came soon after and we went off to GIANT to get necessary snacks and stuffs, and then and then the joke of the whole chalet came up. HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA. Get this.
Madah asked Fas the night before whether she had chillli to bring to the chalet, so Fas asked berapa batang nak bawak. Madah mistook that as botol so blame Madah's poor penghayatan bahasa melayu (hahahaha) and so she said one. So you know....HAHAHAHA poor Faseha brought only one pathetic batang of chilli to the chalet. Me Madah and Wadah eh couldnt control our laughters and I remembered tearing and having cramps while laughing, Mana tah budak tu selit chilli kat dalam bag..
Me and Wadah became twins of the day. One fatter than the other. Guess which one. Heh.
The hotdogs murah gila lah! 3 packs for $2.84 or something, which was definitely a steal for us since there were gonna be so many of us. Madah obviously wasnt interested because she dont eat hotdogs cos she's a WILDCAT! (heh korang)
took the sentosa express and wadah was so jakon cos it was her first time up there. almost everyone in the train were looking at us cos we looked like some pelarian or something. my bag's damn big but quite empty because I know i can depend on people like sya for almost everything. sedangkan overnight at my place for one night jer dia da worried whether i had facial wash or moisturizer or not.
Upon reaching Sentosa we didnt have ANY idea where the chalet would be at! Clueless like a tourist we took a map of Sentosa and finally found the place. Very near to Cafe Del Mar so we thought eh why not eh party at night hahaha. Had some problems at the counter and by then it was raining cats and dogs lah! and we had gotten the hut furthest from the main chalet so it was quite a walk and we were drenched by the time we reached. Wadah had the honour to open the doorrrr aaanddd..
yah thats wadah, not me. mwehehe
And I can say that not bad not bad, the room's not as small as we'd expected but then again GM loves small spaces so we can put our arms around each other and my sleeping partner is, well, yati again. HAHA nobody wants to sleep with me because korang takot aku start engine kan. HAHA the start-engine thingy was due to previous chalet 2 yrs ago where I was trying to push away the blanket so obviously I was using my leg to do that, and yatiwitty thought I was off on a motorbike in my dream. yelah tu. We chopped the top part of the bunk bed and yati took quite some time just to get on the bed. HAHA!
That was already 6 plus and all of us were hungry but we didnt have any fork to eat cos minah cutlery aka naza was still at tekong waiting for her bf to pop, like burst out popping kinda thing. So she and the rest were only meeting at 9pm at Eunos, but cows our stomachs were cringing and crying, mintak ampun. So we walked to the tram station and to go to 711 at Pahlawan and when we were finally on the tram leaving for pahlawan, we looked to our left and saw 711 exactly at Beach Station!
In the end we didnt get forks at 711 cos we had to buy something like cup noodles before we can get them, kental. So while waiting for the tram to go back, we overhead this smart little chinese girl playing guessing games with her brother and we also followed guessing. "It starts with an S, tall, skinny... not too fat" and we guessed Superman tapi she kept changing her answers and hints and all, annoying lah. I still dont really like kids yet. Yah im not ready to deal with kids yet, except for my lovely nieces and nephews (:
Then Bah came with the forks she took from, erm, Mcdonalds or LJ, gua tak tau. But yeah finally we gotta eat kway teow that mada's mom cooked, and sedaaaaap. not too hot for me!
Wanted to wait for lagi 3 orang tu datang to go for swimming, but we figured that would be too late and pool closes at 10 or 1030, might as well just dip in lah. All the time it was still raining but it finally stopped so we changed and dipped into the pool til it closed. The pool belonged to us only for the first hour, but then slowly slightly more people came and there were these 2 mat m'sia (confirm) who were trying to show off their skills lah cos you know, GM actually nak berendam ajer, part swimming2 ni tak pro lah. One of them could do a backflip I think, like a dolphin you know! So when our kulit da kecut2 we went back to chalet and washed up and finally when they came, we all started to be so kecoh and what nots lah. Unfortunately for us we had a neighbour with kids 2 huts away and he came out asking us to SHUSSHH while pointing to his watch. Cows who comes to a chalet to sleep sia! Abeh isteri mengandung, duduk hospital tunggu hari lagi bagus. Spoil mood jer.
So we packed up and went down to Pahlawan again, this time walkingggggggg it felt like forever! We did stupid things like marching in sequence and bombing each other by our milahtants name, "melon bomb! melon bomb! melon bomb to milah bomb!" and doing near-samba rhythms using our voices. Not even close ah, they cant even follow a tempo hahaha sorry main2 jer kay muah muah! The best part was that the whole beach was empty, well atleast, we didnt bump into anyone along the way as far as I can remember. Kirakan make way for GM lah, oh so terharu.

The night didnt stop there. We found a spot next to Cafe Del Mar (which was empty gila btw) and played cards til roughly about 1+am. Ohmygod what a nice view and its a good thing they ditched the plan to go to the island infront because it wasnt light up at all and we didnt know if the bridge was stable enough. You know things can happen so I wanted to make sure everyone's safe and takmo carik pasal. We left only when it started drizzling and didnt want to get drenched anymore.
By then I was tired and sleepy already lah, after taking medication that naza brought hehe and then by 3 or so I think I was asleep while the rest bising2 kat bawah. Thats the good thing about sleeping at the upper bunk bed; privacy. Too bad we didnt have classic moments this yr in bed, ey yati? Satu2 set alarm at 6am cos we wanted to catch the sunrise and walk along the beach and then continue swimming in the morning, but masyaAllah pasal alarm ringing also boleh jadi gaduh lah pagi2 buta. Yati's hp was so freaking annoying I felt like throwing it down, padahal she said she tak set any alarm! GASP! But everyone woke up at 9 only, tu pon satu2 da liat semacam. It was still raining a little but we managed to get up, wash up and prepared breakfast.
I LOVE I LOVE THE BREAKFAST. Wadah brought a stove so we had gas so we managed to boil hotdogs and stuffs. Plus each GM was assigned to bring atleast 2 eggs; 1 boiled and 1 raw, and we took some time to differentiate which is which, and ended up cracking one raw egg which we thought was boiled.
Kita 4 kopek telur while Fas was attending to the hotdogs. We also had Tuna and Nutella yummay, and yes we finally got chilli sauce (which i dont eat eh) and tomato sauce (yay!)
Very kampung-ish environment, I like like like sangat! Ate and then before changing into our costumes, we just HAD to do a gengmilah video. You know, we're kental like that but I know we aalll love the video! Ok penat ah. I still want to continue about the surprise :)))))))))))) but i need my sleep cos tomorrow's my niece's wedding and i'd have to help out. heh. ok the video is a must-watch. HAHA.
