Hi Natalie, good luck on your pregnancy. I interviewed two pediatricians. The first I interviewed was referred to me by a friend who delayed immunizations for his son until he was 3 years old. Dr. Jeffrey Abrams came across as being extremely supportive for parents who want to have major input in the care of their child, including "alternative" medicine, delaying or changing immunization schedules, breastfeeding, and generally being a crunchy parent. His info is:
Dr. Jeffrey Abrams 6460 Spalding Drive, Suite D Norcross, Georgia, 30092 770) 449-0844
If he wasn't 45-60 minutes away from my house in traffic, I'd be with him. However, I chose to go with a practice that is about 5 minutes from my house. They offer a much more conventional approach to pediatric care and didn't seem as willing to bend on immunizations. However, they said they were willing to discuss my concerns with me and were very supportive of breastfeeding (the pediatrician I went with is currently breastfeeding her 4 month old baby herself). They are:
