Last week, I finally got a graded paper back from Rebecca Walsh. The document was WeberShortFemQueer.doc, which I found overly judgmental, but I got an A, so I'm not going to make an issue of it.
I watched Thank You for Smoking with Kellyann and Sara before break, and I rather enjoyed it. It made me want to smoke superbad though, like really smoke, like smoke down a whole forest. I would kill someone for the nicotine under his fingernails. Luckily, I don't believe in subliminal messages.
Thanksgiving in D.C. was fun, although if I had known the four hour drive there would actually be eight hours in the pouring rain accompanied by the stench of spicy peanuts pouring forward from the backseat, I may not have gone. We played Apples to Apples and watched The Usual Suspects. Dr. Adelson got drunk on scotch whiskey and gave us all free flu shots. I actually don't remember much after the shot except for the whirling dervish of neon lights and a nice woman named Nancy telling me everything would be alright, but a happy Thanksgiving was had by all. On the ride back, we listened to LFO and Michael Jackson, and the sun was shining and there was peace on earth.
