You Made a Yummy Sound
My asthma has been superbad lately cuz of all the pollen, so I decided to swim today instead of running. And I must say, it was just lovely. I hope Jenny will swim with me this summer if we're in the same city at some point!!!!!! But then, I got into the locker room and took my shower, ever careful not to let any part of my skin come in contact with any fixture in the room. When I exited, I realized there was nowhere for me to dry my swimming suit! Oh my god! I've said it before, and I'll say it again: the swimsuit dryer is the most important invention since the sun first crossed the path of this, our planet Earth.
I watched Stand and Deliver today. It brought back beautiful memories of the days of yore when I took AP tests at Central. I love the part of the movie when the kid see CALCULUS written on the board and goes, "What's calCOOLus?" Ha! It almost brings me to tears when the head of the Latino gang who wears the panty-hose on his head gets a five. It reminds me so much of my own high school experience, except that the kid who got the five was actually a white guy in a pink polo and Birkenstocks.
I'd forgotten how much I love Big Fish. We need to watch that again.
