Watching the Others Struggle Through Makes Me Grin

On Thursday I went to Pub Quiz at the Dillo with Phil, Jessica and Robin. It was sorta fun. We got 7th place out of 11, which is shameful. We also cheated, which is even more pathetic.

I finally did laundry today, thank God. I was to the point where all I had left were thongs, so I was wearing them with jeans and everything. Not only was it uncomfortable, but this absolute toad of a man that works at my office definitely got a peek when I was crawling under the desk to plug in my ipod charger. I blame technology.

I got this new job where I grade essays online for Kaplan and shit like that and make at least $15 per hour. It's great, because the shittier I do, the faster I can go, and the faster I can go, the more money I make.

We found out that Guster is playing for our LDOC. I'm super pumped, because Guster is fifty times better than Collective Soul. I kinda want to be in charge of LDOC next year, but I doubt I have the credentials. It'd be real fun though. I'd want to get Avril Lavigne, Barbra Streisand, or the Vienna Boychoir.

Livejournal added a thing where it automatically saves a draft of your entry every two minutes. That is neat.

On LDOC this year I have class until 8:30, which includes presentations on Elizabethan plays. That is a serious problem, as I will probably be wasted by noonish. The teacher for that class is Porter, and he kept talking about "the p-p-penis" during class last week, and I could hardly stifle my childish laughter.

Rissy and I have acquired a homeless lady cart from the West Village office. They let us borrow it for moving, but we're never giving it back (much like the three extra lamps), because it's sooooooo awesome. It's all red and sort of rickety and smells like flame-retardant nylon. I'm going to take it to class. Maybe it will protect me from the crazy homeless people at the bus station across the street, because they'll think I'm one of them.

I'm addicted to Gross's blog, and it only has three entries.
