A couple of Fridays ago, Lane and I went with a few friends to see Crispin Glover present his film "What Is It?" at the Castro Theater.
I'm not going to try to describe or critique the film, and if you've seen it, you'll know why.
The entire experience blew me away. I was suddenly inspired to get my brain out and make some shit!
Consequently, during the Q&A after the film, I pulled my tiny sketch pad out of my purse and drew a quick likeness of Mr. Glover, who was standing on the stage only 20 feet from us. Strikingly handsome man, I might add.
Since that night, I've been drawing, painting, and baking a little more than usual. I feel like I need it. It's surprisingly satisfying. Especially the drawing part.
